Linda C. Powers
Linda C. Powers is an experienced trial lawyer and dedicated advocate for victims of personal injury and their families. After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law with honors in 1999, Linda practiced at the Office of the Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis where she tried numerous felony cases. In 2006, Linda transferred her extensive trial experience to the area of civil law. For seven years, she practiced at one of St. Louis’s most prominent and well-respected law firms where she handled the firm’s most challenging and complex cases, consistently gaining outstanding results for clients.
Linda’s purpose is straightforward - to devote ample time and focused attention to a smaller number of cases in order to get each client maximum compensation for his or her injuries. The firm’s mission is not to be a big law firm. We strive to provide accessible, personalized legal representation to each client. Although the majority of civil cases are settled without a jury trial, we prepare every case as if it were going to trial. If and when the responsible party or insurance company will not agree to a reasonable settlement, we are always prepared to fight for our clients in the courtroom.
Linda is experienced in handling injury cases, including Wrongful Death, Nursing Home Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Automobile Collision cases and also assists clients with Civil Rights cases involving serious personal injury or death. She has successfully handled numerous cases, many of which have resulted in a verdict or settlement in the millions of dollars.
Linda is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the American Bar Association.
