Emery A. Reusch

Emery A. Reusch is a trial lawyer who works aggressively and tirelessly on his clients’ behalf.

Emery always knew he wanted to be a trial lawyer and he pursued this career path from a very young age. His proficiency in trial practice was clear from the start – winning state, regional and national awards in litigation competitions in high school and college. In law school, Emery was selected to join the Trial Team as a first-year law student – a testament to his advanced skill compared to older students. He was ultimately chosen as captain of the Trial Team and, upon graduation, awarded the Everett J. Hullverson Award for Excellence in Trial Practice. He was also given the Academic Excellence Award in Negotiations, representing the highest grade achieved in that class.

Emery began working for an insurance defense firm defending companies who injured people. He quickly realized the extent to which companies will go to avoid responsibility for the harm they caused to people. He decided to re-direct his efforts and skills to helping those who were wronged. He joined Groves Powers following two years of personal injury practice at a well-respected local law firm, where he achieved numerous favorable results for clients.

Emery’s practice is centered around personal attention to every case. The select number of cases handled by the firm allow Emery to devote the time and attention necessary to achieve the best result for his client.

Emery graduated from Saint Louis University, cum laude, and Saint Louis University School of Law. Emery is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois, the Southern District of Illinois, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and American Association for Justice.
